Havana Dragons 3 - 0 Park RangersThis game was an intriguing fixture after both teams drew on the opening day of the season. The Dragonswere without 7 players playing with a much depletedsquad. However Park Rangers endured a nightmare start and fell behind to a beautifully worked goal after just three minutes. A crossfield ball from Rich Leehane , was flicked on by captain Amrit Labana and left Baruah to score from close range. Havana Dragons seemed to be controlling the game in the early parts of the first half and were constantly putting pressureon the Rangers defence. On the half hour their pressure was rewarded after good work down the right by Murtaza Zahoor, who cut the ball inside to Labana, who somewhat spectacularly volleyed the ball with the outside of his right boot into the top corner and left the Rangers keeper rooted. Park Rangers came back into the game in the final ten of the first half and were denied a certain goal by an excellent goal line clearance from Paul Guttridge. There were few chances in a scrappy second half , with Park Rangers battling hard to get back into the game. However the game was killed off in the 70th minute after an abysmal shot from Leehane somehow found its way to Zahoor whocalmly slotted it past the keeper. A good result for the Dragons, which leaves the group wide open.
